Nope, it's not an artwork of Philippine National Artist Benedicto Cabrera."Sleeping Beauty" refers to you, baby doll. Because you mostly slept during our BenCab Museum visit this afternoon.
We've been living in Baguio for about two months now, yet it was just our first time to visit the museum in nearby town Tuba (Benguet). We took a jeep from Baguio City Center (you almost threw a tantrum cause we waited more than half an hour for it to be filled with passengers) to Km. 6 Asin Road where the museum sits. You slept throughout the ride, until we hopped off at our stop and entered the museum.
There were no other people around. Bubba and I took our time staring at paintings, rubber cut artworks (mum's fave), and tribal artifacts. We had late lunch at Cafe Sabel which overlooks the duck pond, then strolled in the garden after eating.
Rain came and went. Came and went.
When the skies cleared, we left the museum and walked to Ifugao Woodcarver's Village to catch a jeep going back to the city center. It was a long walk, and we waited for ages, but bubba and I didn't mind. We had a great art appreciation day and you had a great sleeping day.
